Unlockedmw is a tool primarily to aid you with fighting. It was created by Alex of the PAC and former developer at playerscripts.com. It's easy to use and works with the new Fight Module. Unlockedmw is a toolbar like most of us have never seen before. When enabled, it rests between the main Mafia Wars tabs and the Mission Bar. It won't be visible anywhere else outside of Mafia Wars. It's not fully automated and requires some management on your part. UnlockedMW is the ideal balance between manual fighting and fully automated scripts like Brawler. The posting feature is sure to be a favorite among the families/clans that allow their members to use third party tools or to those who enjoy posting their ices all over town.
Installing is a little different than your standard bookmarklets and requires you download a Chrome Extention or FireFox Add-On. To start using this tool today, follow the installation instructions below.
Go to the mwunlocked website and select the Downloads Page.
Select Chrome or FireFox (or both) to download.
Chrome
Go here to download the UnlockedMW Toolbar Chrome Extension and click "Install" located in the lower right corner of the blue box.
Wait a few seconds and you will be notified that the extension was successfully installed and you will see Installed with a check mark in front of it in the blue box.
FireFox
FireFox is a little more complicated because you need to install Greasemonkey before you can install the UnlockedMW Toolbar. Go here to install the Greasemonkey Add-On and click on "Add to FireFox".
Wait the 5 seconds for it to prepare.
Click on Install to begin the installation process.
Restart FireFox from the Installation popup that will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen.
If you did everything right, you will now have a cute little smiling monkey in the upper right or bottom right corner of your screen.
If you don't see this monkey anywhere, you can check from your Tools Tab to make sure Greasemonkey is enabled. To do this go to the Tools Tab located in the upper right of your screen, click on Greasemonkey from the drop down menu and make sure there is a check next to Enabled. If Greasemonkey isn't installed properly and enabled, you won't be able to install the Unlockedmw Toolbar.
When you are ready to install the Unlockedmw Toolbar, go to the unlockedmw download page and click on the red link.
You will get the download popup and the little monkey will make a flash appearance from the bottom of your screen to let you know what he is doing.
Wait until the install button is visible and click on it.
Your monkey will let you know that the install was successful and you are good to go.
Once everything is installed and enabled, go to your Mafia Wars game and you will see the toolbar between the the tabs and the Mission Bar. It will remain there every time you log in unless you disable or uninstall it. Unframing is not required, just load Mafia Wars and it will be there. It will also work in an unframed page if you prefer to play unframed.
In the current version, there are 8 buttons on the UnlockedMW Toolbar that serve different functions
Banks all unbanked currency in the destination you are in.
Tools Drop Bar
Loads a variety of popular fighting bookmarklets which work in both a framed or unframed game.
Settings
Manage where your ice postings will be published and set your healing threshold.
Ice Post
Automatically publishes ice postings to the Facebook page of your choice.
Hospital
Automatically heals your character at the threshold of your choice. Only New York currency is used.
Stamina
Automatically attacks targets until they are iced and closes out all popups
Energy
Automatically repeats a job of your choice until all of your energy is depleted.
UnlockedMW
UnlockedMW is the website hosted by Alex. There is a blog, download page and a Mafia Wars sites page. Alex posts instructions and updates to the UnlockedMW as well as some useful Mafia Wars information on the blog.
Bank
When the Bank button is activated, all you need to do is click it once and your money will be banked. Only the currency in the destination you are in will be banked. If you are working on your New York money achievements, be very careful not to click this button. It's fast and there are no verification windows.
Tools
You will find some of your favorite bookmarkets by Arun and Team Spockholm located in the Tools Drop Bar. All bookmarklets when activated from here will run in a framed state. I always play Mafia Wars unframed and the tools will work in this state as well. The Mini-Pack will grant you the Zynga Tool Bar bonus when you click on it (provided you haven't received a bonus within the past 8 hours).
Settings
The Settings button is where you will tell the Unlockedmw Tool bar where you want your ices to be posted on Facebook and when you want to be healed in the Hospital.
To post on any Facebook Fan Page (assuming you can freely post there), select "Facebook Fanpage" and enter the ID of the page into the box. It's important you only enter the ID # (or letters) and not the entire link or it won't work. The Facebook link for The Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page is www.facebook.com/mafiawarslootladyblog. The ID that goes into the settings is just mafiawarslootladyblog. You can only post on fan pages as group pages won't work.

And here is my ice posted on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page. It did get some attention as Leonard was trying to figure out how I did such a thing (1). Now he will know. This was just a test and I don't recommend anybody posting their ices to a fan page unless that is the purpose of the page. This feature will be most utilized on war pages.
Your auto-healer threshold is also saved in the settings. I selected 100 so once my health gets below 100, UnlockedMW will attempt to heal for me. You can only heal every 45-60 seconds (depending on your NGO Mask bonus) in the game so the script won't be able to do it any sooner but will keep trying. Always remember to click on the "Save" button or the information you entered won't be saved.
Ice Poster
When activated, ice posts will automatically be generated. You still need to publish them but it will take less clicks. Depending on how you adjust your settings, the posts will either publish to your wall or the wall of the fan page you stored in the settings. When this feature is turned off, the ice popups will automatically be closed and no ice post will be generated. This will save you time and clicks.
Hospital
The Hospital button is an auto-healer that will heal for you at the threshold you saved in the settings. Only New York currency will be used regardless of what destination you are in.
Stamina
The 3 options for the Stamina button are off, on and red. When your Stamina button is turned on, UnlockedMW will continue to attack the targets you select until they are iced (either by you or other players). If you lose a fight or your target is already iced, the window will be closed automatically and you can move on. When the Stamina button is turned to red, it will continue to attack targets whether you win or lose and it will do so at twice the speed of the green option. There are 3 possible outcomes when you enter a fight.
You Win!
UnlockedMW will continue to attack until the player is iced by you or somebody else. If the Ice Post button is deactivated, the window will close out and you will be taken back to the fightlist.
You Lose!
In the green mode, UnlockedMW will close out the fight window and return you to the fightlist to select a new target. In the red mode, it will continue the attack until you or your opponent is iced. If you are successful in icing your opponent it is called a red ice because you lost each fight but did enough damage to bring your opponents health below 20. An ice is an ice regardless of how you get there.
You Are Too Late!
If the player you attack is already iced, UnlockedMW will close out the window and return you to a fresh fightlist so you can select another target. Unfortunately, this seems to happen frequently and it's nice to not have to close out the window as it starts to get annoying after about the 3rd time.
When you are in the middle of attacking a live target and somebody steals your ice, the popup window is automatically closed and you are returned to the fightlist.
The Stamina button will also work with hitlist fighing.
Energy
The Energy button will repeat any job you do when it's activated. Just do a job once and UnlockedMW will take over until you turn off the Energy button or run out of energy.
To turn off the UnlockedMW Toolbar, it's easy to manage from your Extensions in Chrome or Add-Ons in FireFox. In Chrome, click on the little wrench icon in the upper right corner of your screen, select Tools and then Extensions.
The UnlockedMW Toolbar will appear in your list of extensions.
Toggle between Enable and Disable to turn UnlockedMW off or on.
If you want to remove it completely from your computer, select "Uninstall" and it will be removed. If you decide you want it back, follow the installation instructions.
To disable or uninstall in FireFox, go to your Tools Tab, select Greasemonkey and click on Manage User Scripts.
From the Add-Ons Manager Page, click on Disable to turn UnblockedMW off or Remove to uninstall.
Just like with the Chrome Extension, click Disable to turn UnlockedMW off and Enable to turn it back on.
To remove the UnlockedMw, click on Remove.
Alex created the two short videos shown below which further explain how UnlockedMW works. I suggest you watch them as the instructions above will make more sense once you see it in action.
